Here we are at the border crossing where we waited 30 minutes for our interrogation by the border patrol officer. The experience was very impressive to me. The officer did a good job.

Monday is Moon's day

We went up to the mountains for a campout but I'm too sad to finish this blog because we just discovered that the neighbors Rottweiller killed most of our chickens while we were gone.

Okay, I'm back to my post. We tried the Wood River campground this time and liked it. I like to go when the moon is full because you can see the silhouettes of the cathedral pines on the tent walls at night.

Brooke, to add to the miscellany of signs: Here is a funny one warning us that the bridge will be bumpy. My mother used to say, "Funny strange or funny Ha Ha?" This one is funny HaHa.

Jay and his friend Leandro, visiting from Florianopolis, Brasil, stopped by for a visit to the farm after a weekend at Bear Lake. The world has some terrific young people!

Look Who Came Home With Us!

This is a rest stop in the way to WA that had a play area for horses. I thought that was so sweet!

North Fork

It was the full moon of July so we went for an overnight campout.

This is Johnny in the depression he dug. When Dad said, "Shall we hit the sack?" and started putting stuff away for the night Johnny went over to the bare ground by the tent and dug a depression and curled up in it. He looked like a little fox. It was so cute I wanted to take a picture of it but since he is afraid of cameras we have a picture of him getting up out of his depression.
We arrive at the Harriman trail for some biking.

The beautiful mushroom at our campsite. I wish I knew how to research mushrooms. I want to know what kind it is.

Mushrooms fuel my imagination so I took a shot to see what it would be like to be underneath it.

We did foil packets with our garden produce and Prescott beef. They were delicious!

Trip to Utah

We went to Cory's with the truck to wish Aiden a Happy Birthday and to help Cory get a load of compost for his relandscaping. Dad and Cory went exercising in the morning and the sun got us up fairly early from our night in the tent in the backyard. I grabbed a banana for breakfast and joined Dad and Cory to go get the compost at the recycling place. When we got back home we backed the truck in to the yard and I smelled a yummy smell from the house. Aiden came out and said, "Lidia made breakfast." We went in to find this cute scene. My heart melted to a puddle. What a sweet little doll! She said, "I made breakfast for my parents and grandparents."
