Quaking Aspen Park
There is nothing like a sale!! We were at D & B the other day and they had their plants and trees on sale for 50% off. By the time we left, we had 25 Quaking Aspen trees, 12 holly plants for ground cover, and 5 containers of fountain grass. So guess what we have been doing for the last few days. I had just planted 4 fruit trees in this same location a few days before, but the Quakies looked better there so up came the fruit trees and went on the east side and here I am digging the last hole.

This morning I woke up at 4:30 and decided since I was awake I might as well go fishing. Fran got up too and brought Charlee and we went to the Richfield Canal. When we got there Lonnie and Dad were already there, but guess who caught the biggest fish. It is the biggest trout I have caught. It weighed 3 pounds and 5 ounces.

Wow so i guess that's not a part of the driveway anymore since the milk trucks don't need to get back there. how pretty it will all be in a few years!
Oh and nice fish! Did you eat it for dinner?
Woohoo! Way to show up the big-time fisherman, Dad! I can't wait until you have a quaking aspen forest behind the house.
The Aspen grove looks great!
And so does the fish. That is a big one!
It's about time you planted trees instead of knocking them all down with back-hoes. ^_^
It's also a good idea to plant trees, not grass. Someone has to mow grass. I never mowed the grass growing up, but I'm making up for that now!
Nice fish. We caught two catfish on the 4th of July that were only about 6 inches each.
