I broke the buzzer on the oven! Ben to the rescue.

A walk through the woods-

This little harbinger of spring has the Tulip show people worried that the tulips will be all finished when they have the show in April.

Over the meadow-

This was the sunniest weekend on record-

To the beach-unfortunately the lighthouse was covered for restoration.

They determined the sunniest weekend by hours of daylight without clouds.

The guy at the fish market recommended cooking our fish with a salt crust. So we did an experiment. One fish with and one fish without. The salt crust won. It was good.

Spring springing.

I couldn't resist this shot of all the guys hanging out in the living room watching the Olympics.

To be clear, while I was quick to dismantle the oven, Dad is the one who came to the rescue by figuring out how to make it stop buzzing. As for that sunniest weekend, on the same day you left the weather decided to start raining again. It was lots of fun having you guys here.
Looks so beautiful!
Did Brooke keep her arm in the air like that for the whole evening of Olympics?
No, Brooke didn't hold her arm up very long. It was a cute scene so I moved stealthily in to the other room to get the camera but when I got back they had shifted position so I had to have everybody re-create the moment.
Ha. I love having Dad come to the rescue. We actually save projects for him every visit. Just to help him feel needed, of course.
Love the Seattle pics. How wonderful to get a sunny weekend. I say this every time anyone posts Seattle pictures, so I'll say it again. It's the most beautiful of places!
