We have had a good tomato harvest. Tonight we had the four couples that were in the MTC with us over for BLTs
You cannot tell, but this is a bright red sunset behind the Joseph and Hyrum statues, with the Mississippi river in the background. Just a block North of our house.

Oh am I jealous of those tomatoes. I missed out on the best part of summer by not having garden-grown tomatoes this year.
BLTs are a great way to celebrate!
I am also jealous of the tomatoes. I got a total of about 5 tomatoes from 3 plants, and the taste just didn't compare to the tomatoes I have grown back home.
We did have BLTs with one of the tomatoes, but the "bacon" I bought turned out to be nothing more than ham cut into a bacon shape.
So beautiful! I want to come visit again. And eat all your tomatoes.
