Illinois Nauvoo Mission



Here are some pictures of what we do when we go to work each day.



Dad mows some of the more than 300 acres of grass.

Here I am washing and waxing the bronze statues.


This one is in the Old Nauvoo Burial Grounds, It represents a family of the 1840s..







I'm learning how to be a conservator! We use bamboo skewers to remove old wax and dirt. We have 14 bronze statues that we maintain.




The lawnmowers are hydro static but that isn't anything new to Dad since that's how the swather runs.
