FISH MARKET

The covered street where they have the fish market.
We bought a fish from this fish monger.
They have these piles of tiny dried fish that they mix in with rice.
The octopus on the right is still alive.
Or you can buy them deceased.
Or you can buy them prepared.
Or dried. Octopus and squid are popular. I wish I knew how to cook these things since here we are with such easy access to sea food. I read the waters around Japan are fertile with sea food.
Another of my sneaky attempts to get a photo of a beautiful Japanese person while pretending to take a photo of the produce market. But we did buy some produce.
Check it out Jay! It's persimmon season!

The guys who gutt the fish we picked out.
