This play field is called Mosiah's Meadow. You might see a photo of it on lds.org. Grandpa and the other Elders dug it up because it was getting lumpy and they planted new grass. You can see that the baby grass is coming up. I hope it's big enough to walk on when you come here.
Here is the meadow close to our apartment. These are some of the campers running around playing tag with their dad. Those benches are in a circle around a campfire ring. In the back is a wood shed.
A wild rhododendron
These are tent sites. They have a shelter over a picnic table in case it rains.
Grandpa had to fix one of these shelters because the pole that held it up rotted in the ground and broke off at ground level. Some of our campers who were a Cub Scout family had to tie it up to their tent so we knew it was time to fix it. Whatever is wood that touches the ground through the winter time starts to rot because we get a lot of rain. But in summer we don't get too much rain.
