Cinco de Mayo

The Spanish Branch had a Cinco de Mayo fiesta on Friday. We had about 100 people there. It was a great fiesta.
This is Brother R. who moved here from California and is a recent convert. He is originally from Cuba but is Mexican at heart. He has his own Mariachi costume and kareoke machine and entertained us after dinner.

Los pollitos dicen, "Pio, pio, pio"
No one else would sing and I noticed the kids were just running around the gym so I decided to have them come up and sing the "Los Pollitos" song with me. Some of them did not know the song, but they tried anyway.

Cuando tienen frio.

Duermen los pollitos hasta el otro dia.

Brother R. and us.

Oh, that's the Cinco de Mayo party I wanted to be at! How fun. For some reason the picture of Dad singing with the kids made me teary. I hope this sensitivity wears off some day! I can't just be crying every time I see children being cute.
